Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Invitedd is a service provided by Weblord, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 70417032. Weblord is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this privacy policy.

2. Data we collect

Account data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored as secure hashes.

Event data

When you create an event, we process the information you provide, including event details, guest names and email addresses, RSVP responses, dietary requirements, poll votes, date-picker answers, programme details and wishlist items.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. We do not store card numbers, bank account numbers or similar payment credentials. Mollie receives and processes this information under its own privacy policy.

Technical data

When you visit our websites, we may process an anonymised IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, interactions and the referring website.

3. Why we use your data

We process personal data to perform our agreement with you, including creating and managing accounts, providing invitations and event tools, processing payments, and sending invitations or reminders on your behalf.

We also rely on legitimate interests to improve and secure the service, provide support, and prevent fraud or abuse. We ask for consent where required for analytics, marketing cookies, newsletters or promotional email.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We share data only where needed to provide the service, including with Mollie for payments, EU-based infrastructure providers for hosting and storage, and email providers for transactional messages. We have appropriate data-processing arrangements with our processors. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own advertising.

We may disclose information where required by law or a competent authority.

5. Affiliate links

Some local gift-idea pages may link to external retailers. A retailer may set a cookie after you follow such a link. The price you pay does not change, and Invitedd may receive a commission if you make a purchase.

6. Cookies

We use necessary cookies for essential functions such as sessions and cookie preferences. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand website use and marketing cookies to measure referrals. You can update your choices through the cookie settings available on the website.

7. Retention

  • Account data: while your account remains active
  • Event data: while the event is active and for up to 12 months afterwards
  • Financial records: seven years where Dutch tax law requires this
  • Technical logs: up to six months

After you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days unless we must retain specific records by law.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including TLS encryption, password hashing, role-based access controls, EU hosting and regular backups.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. Contact support@invitedd.app; we aim to respond within 30 days.

You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with your local supervisory authority where applicable.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page. We will communicate material changes by email where appropriate.
